About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated Trade Sales Manager to join our dynamic team at GEN PLUS Group. This role is critical in building and maintaining strong relationships with agents, tour operators, and other key partners to promote our clients' hospitality products and services. The ideal candidate will have a passion for travel, strong sales acumen, and excellent communication skills. Responsibilities include negotiating with hotels, airlines, transportation providers, and other suppliers; developing and implementing trade programs to increase brand and destination awareness, visitor arrivals, and spend; and maintaining strong relationships through direct outreach to tour operators, wholesalers, travel agents, MICE/corporate/incentive buyers, airlines, and other distribution intermediaries or related travel partners. The role also involves identifying, developing, and implementing tactical trade marketing programs with key distribution partners, representing destinations at key travel industry events including trade shows, developing and executing sales missions, and assisting in the management of training programs, workshops, roadshows, and other innovative initiatives. Additionally, the Trade Sales Manager will develop and execute travel trade familiarization programs to highlight all aspects of the country, ensure destinations are well represented in trade programs and communications, foster airline relationships to support route development, and explore niche marketing opportunities and alternative distribution channels for specialist travel experiences.
Experience
Minimum 5+ years of extensive experience in handling trade sales within the hospitality or travel industry.

Passionate about travel with strong sales and negotiation skills. Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities. Proactive, organized, and able to work independently and as part of a team. Comfortable representing destinations at industry events and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Qualifications
A degree in Hospitality, Tourism, Business Management, or a related field is preferred.
