About the Role
Nomura is a global financial services group connecting markets East and West, servicing individuals, institutions, corporates, and governments through its four business divisions. The EMEA Legal, Compliance & Controls (LCC) department provides regulatory compliance advice and oversight across the region. The EMEA Compliance Training team ensures that LCC training is delivered, tracked, and reported accurately across EMEA and sometimes cross-border.
This role is a key project management and business-as-usual position focused on the administration, expansion, and enhancement of a question-based learning tool (Cognexo). Responsibilities include stakeholder management for designing and implementing question banks aligned with the annual training plan, using Training Needs Analysis to determine learning objectives, maintaining the training plan, writing and maintaining questions for Cognexo, liaising with the vendor to ensure smooth tool administration, analysing data analytics and recommending actions, supporting the in-house Instructional Designer with online learning solutions, and delivering ad hoc online and face-to-face training sessions.
The role requires flexibility and adaptability to changing demands and close collaboration with multiple stakeholders across the firm.
Experience
- Proven track record of designing and delivering training in a professional environment
- Experience delivering both face-to-face and virtual training
- Ability to analyse processes and procedures and translate them into effective training solutions
- Extensive stakeholder management experience
- Strong PowerPoint, Outlook, MS Word, and Excel skills
- Experience working with eLearning authoring tools such as TAP is desirable
- Experience in Financial Services training teams, preferably Compliance, is desirable
