About the Role
We are expanding our Treasury team following a period of growth and in preparation for new products and fund structures. The Treasury Analyst will strengthen Hayfin's operations platform, enhance existing processes and support the implementation of FIS Quantum. This role requires a proactive, detail-oriented and intellectually curious individual to support core treasury activities across multiple strategies, working closely with Operations. Key responsibilities include liquidity management, cross-functional collaboration, debt facilities management, FX hedging, reporting, and supporting risk, controls and governance to ensure operational resilience and compliance.
Responsibilities include:
- Support daily cash forecasting and maintain a robust liquidity and funding framework, monitoring group-wide cash flows across assets, debt and FX.
- Collaborate closely with Operations on multi-strategy cash and asset data, debt drawdown and reconciliation to underpin Treasury reporting.
- Prepare utilisation requests for debt financing facilities (RCF, ABL, Sub-Line, NAV), assess borrowing capacity and support covenant compliance.
- Populate FX hedging trade sheets (spot, swap and forward) and liaise with the external execution team to ensure smooth onboarding and settlement.
- Prepare monthly Treasury KPI reports and respond to internal and external queries on cash, liquidity and treasury processes.
- Support payment processing and approvals, uphold data integrity, and maintain a risk-focused approach to compliance and operational resilience.
Experience
Some exposure to liquidity forecasting and cash modelling, ideally within private credit, private equity or alternative asset management. Good understanding of financial markets, particularly alternative investments; exposure to multi-strategy treasury structures (e.g. pooling, fund hierarchies) is a plus. Experience with treasury systems such as FIS Integrity or Quantum is advantageous.
About you
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with a collaborative approach. Proactive and detail-oriented, with a genuine interest in process improvement and continuous learning. Strong Excel skills; familiarity with PowerPoint and data visualisation tools (e.g. Power BI, Qlik) is a plus.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics or STEM. Two years' experience in treasury, cash management or finance operations within global capital markets or alternative investment management. Studying towards, or interested in, a treasury/accounting qualification (e.g. DipTM, ACCA, CIMA) is desirable.
