About the Role
Are you an experienced treasury professional looking for an opportunity to lead a busy operational treasury function within a large and complex organisation? We are seeking a Treasury Operations Manager to take responsibility for the smooth and effective running of our operational treasury function and play a key role in protecting the financial strength and resilience of Notting Hill Genesis.
As a senior member of the Finance team, you will oversee day-to-day treasury activity across cash and liquidity, borrowings, banking, reporting, accounting, and treasury systems. You will ensure cash availability to meet commitments, manage borrowing obligations effectively, and maintain accurate, timely, and well-controlled treasury information.
You will lead and develop two Treasury Accountants, creating a high-performing and customer-focused team that provides excellent service to colleagues and external stakeholders.
Working closely with the Head of Treasury, senior Finance colleagues, banks, lenders, and other partners, this role combines technical treasury expertise with people leadership, strategic thinking, and continuous improvement in an organisation where effective financial management directly supports our ability to deliver for residents.

Requirements

Experience
- Strong technical expertise in treasury management, operations, and financial risk assessment.
- Experience managing cash, liquidity, borrowing arrangements, and treasury-related financial controls.
- Strong understanding of loan agreements, capital and interest obligations, and covenant compliance.
- Experience preparing treasury forecasts, budgets, and management information.
- Experience in treasury reporting for senior stakeholders, including Board or regulatory reporting.
- Strong understanding of treasury accounting and applicable accounting standards.
- Experience working with Treasury Management Systems and maintaining high-quality treasury data.
- Experience with banking platforms, mandates, and KYC requirements.
- Proven people-management experience including developing, appraising, motivating, and performance managing staff.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex information, evaluate alternatives, and reach well-informed conclusions.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with confidence to work effectively with senior stakeholders, colleagues, and external partners.
- Commitment to professional ethics including integrity, objectivity, professional competence, confidentiality, and professional behaviour.
- Ability to balance operational delivery with longer-term improvements and strategic priorities.

About you
You are a passionate, enthusiastic, and talented individual committed to delivering great service. You thrive in a busy environment, enjoy leading teams, and are motivated to continuously improve processes and outcomes. You demonstrate strong leadership and communication skills and have a strategic mindset aligned with operational excellence.

Qualifications
- A CCAB-recognised accounting qualification, supported by ongoing CPD, together with a treasury qualification.
- Pending confirmation of legislative changes, this role may require a qualification to demonstrate competence. If not already qualified, there may be an expectation to study towards a professional qualification.
