About the Role
As a Tuberculosis (TB) Outreach Worker at St George's University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, you will play a vital role in supporting patients affected by TB. This position involves engaging with patients in the community to improve treatment adherence, provide education about TB, and reduce transmission risks. You will work closely with healthcare professionals and public health teams to deliver outreach services, ensuring patients receive the care and support they need. The role requires excellent communication skills, cultural sensitivity, and the ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Experience
Experience working in community health, outreach, or a similar role is desirable. Knowledge of tuberculosis and public health principles is advantageous.
