About the Role
BMLL Technologies is the leading independent provider of harmonised Level 3, 2 and 1 historical data and analytics across global equities, ETFs, futures and US equity options. Our clients access petabytes of granular data and derived insights via three main products: BMLL Data Lab, BMLL Data Feed and BMLL Vantage, a leading financial data visualisation application. We are seeking an experienced UX/UI Designer to take ownership of the user experience across our software estate, ensuring a consistent, high quality look and feel aligned with our brand and user needs. This central design role involves working across multiple products, owning and evolving our design system and UX guidelines, and collaborating closely with product, engineering, and marketing teams. You will help shape the design direction of our fast-growing FinTech business serving some of the largest financial institutions globally. Given the technical nature of our products and complex financial concepts, an interest in finance and experience designing for data-heavy applications is beneficial.

Key Responsibilities
Own and evolve the BMLL design system and UX standards, ensuring consistent adoption across Data Lab, Data Feed, Vantage and associated Admin tools
Collaborate with engineering and product teams to deliver intuitive, high quality designs for new features and UI enhancements
Work closely with marketing to translate brand principles into consistent product experiences
Conduct user research and usability testing to inform design decisions
Create wireframes and high fidelity prototypes
Contribute to product requirements and define UX standards and best practices across the business

Experience
3+ years of experience in product or UX design, ideally in a B2B SaaS context
Experience owning or significantly contributing to a corporate design system, UX guidelines or information architecture
Strong hands-on skills with Figma
Demonstrated ability to work autonomously across multiple products or workstreams
Strong communication skills, able to articulate design decisions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Comfortable managing competing priorities across multiple teams
Pragmatic and delivery focused, balancing ideal design with real-world constraints
Collaborative by nature, confident advocating for the user in cross-functional discussions
Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

About you
Interest in finance and financial services markets or concepts such as equities, options and futures is desirable
Basic understanding of web development technologies like HTML and CSS is a plus
Experience with Agile software development methodologies
Experience with charting libraries or visualisation tools and understanding how design choices affect chart readability and performance
Experience with Figma Make or Claude Design tools is advantageous
Experience designing for an international user base
