An exciting 24-month Fixed Term Contract opportunity has arisen to work in the award-winning Victoria Park. Do you have proven skills and a passion for parks? If so, we’d love to hear from you. Victoria Park is a grade 2 listed,86 hectare park in Tower Hamlets is looking for a Centre Coordinator officer to join our team to encourage community cohesion. The successful candidate will be responsibile for implementing the aims and objectives of the new Victoria Park Horticultural Center. Lead on the delivery of the centre's business, activity, volunteering and training plans. Implement and develop income streams for the Victoria Park, Environmental Education and Volunteer Programme. Develop community outreach programmes, delivering environmental education, engagement and well-being activities including paid workshop / courses for general public to engage with. Liaise with partnership groups and organisations on events and activities. To identify sources of external funding and contribute to funding applications to sustain and expand the centre’s programme.
