Location
Hybrid role with priority on collaborative on-site work and 2 days working from home.

Hours
10am-6pm office hours with a 1 hour lunch break, with flexibility to work 9am-5pm if preferred.

Salary
£40,000 - £45,000 depending on experience and skill level.

About the Role
NUSA STUDIOS is a social-first content studio with a team of 8 in-house creatives, producers, shooters, and editors. Founded during the pandemic, we have spent the last 6 years producing video content for platforms including YouTube, Meta, TikTok, and TV, working with brands like Ford, Monzo, and Surreal.

This senior position within our post-production team involves owning projects end to end. Editing is the core focus (60%), with motion design and VFX (30%) and sound design (10%) also important. You will work primarily in DaVinci Resolve for editing, with motion design and VFX handled in After Effects and Fusion.

You will collaborate closely with the senior editor, head of post, directors, producers, and creatives to ensure storytelling meets the highest standards across all deliverables. Responsibilities include delivering polished final edits, creating motion design and VFX, handling sound design and audio finishing, supporting colour grading standards, maintaining post workflows, adapting content for various platforms and aspect ratios, managing multiple timelines, and staying current with trends and AI tools that enhance workflow and quality.

Experience
6+ years of professional editing experience (agency, in-house, or freelance) with a proven track record delivering for premium brands.

About you
- Core strength in editing with a natural storytelling ability and strong sense of pacing, rhythm, structure, and emotional tone.
- Strong skills in After Effects and Fusion for motion design, animation, and compositing.
- Extremely confident in DaVinci Resolve, using it daily.
- Comfortable with sound design and audio finishing.
- Social-media-aware with understanding of platform guidelines and marketing funnels.
- Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite including Premiere Pro, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
- Strong communication skills, confident in explaining creative decisions and giving/receiving feedback.
- Up to date with current editing, motion design, and platform trends.
- Some experience with AI tools (e.g. Seedance, Kling, Veo) to streamline and elevate workflows.
- Able to take ownership of projects while being a collaborative team player.
