About the Role
As Volunteering Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating all volunteering activities within Age UK East London. You will ensure the smooth running of volunteering operations in line with the organisation's policies and procedures. This includes adherence to Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI), Health and Safety, Confidentiality, Complaints, GDPR, and Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults policies. You will undertake any other duties within the competence of the post holder as required to support the continued success and smooth operation of Age UK East London.

Experience
Experience in managing volunteers or coordinating volunteer programs is desirable. Familiarity with relevant policies such as EDI, Health and Safety, GDPR, and Safeguarding is advantageous.

About you
You are organised, proactive and committed to supporting older people through effective volunteer management. You have strong communication and interpersonal skills and are able to work collaboratively within a team. You demonstrate a high level of professionalism and integrity, with a clear understanding of confidentiality and safeguarding requirements.

Qualifications
Relevant qualifications or training in volunteer management, community work, or related fields are desirable but not essential. A willingness to learn and adapt is essential.
