About the Role
Sonia Friedman Productions is seeking a full-time, experienced Wardrobe Assistant to join the London production of STRANGER THINGS: THE FIRST SHADOW. This West End production, running since November 2023 at the Phoenix Theatre, is written by Kate Trefry with an original story by the Duffer Brothers, Jack Thorne and Kate Trefry, directed by Stephen Daldry and co-directed by Justin Martin. Produced by Netflix and Sonia Friedman Productions, this role offers the opportunity to work on a large-scale, high-profile theatrical production.
The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting costume maintenance and repairs, performing dressing cues ranging from simple to extensive plots, and assisting with laundry duties including ironing. This role requires excellent hand and machine sewing skills, strong teamwork and communication abilities, and good computer skills including knowledge of Word and Excel.
Start Date: Mid-August 2026
Contract Type: Fixed term, full-time until Sunday, 27th December 2026.

Experience
Experience in a similar position on a large-scale production is essential.
