About the Role
We are recruiting for several fixed term contract positions starting between January and March 2026. As a Warehouse Operations Transport Assistant, you will play a key role in running a clean and efficient Regional Distribution Centre. Your main responsibilities will include operating fork-lift trucks to ensure store orders are loaded efficiently, managing the standards and organisation of our returnable equipment department, and contributing to the success of our recycling operation. This role requires initiative and teamwork to maintain Aldi’s high standards as we continue to expand rapidly with impressive sales growth and new store openings.

Experience
Previous experience operating fork-lift trucks or working in warehouse operations is advantageous but not essential. Full training will be provided.

You are proactive, reliable and able to work effectively as part of a team during night shifts. You have good organisational skills and a commitment to maintaining high standards of safety and efficiency. Flexibility and a positive attitude towards fixed term night work are essential.

Qualifications
Fork-lift truck certification is desirable but not mandatory as training can be provided. A willingness to learn and adhere to health and safety standards is required.
