This technical role involves issuing and briefing field teams and subsequently analysing flow and pressure data delivered by a multi-skilled field team.

The successful candidate will undertake a range of tasks from routine to complex investigations, ensuring all work is seen through to resolution. Key responsibilities include timely completion of risk assessments for work impacting the clean water network, evaluating and analysing operational data to resolve problems, assisting with long-term network issues such as leakage, pressure loss, low flows, area integrity, and network resilience.

You will work closely with the field team to problem-solve operational issues using relevant flow and pressure data to identify anomalies. Ensuring all network operations comply with current Asset Management Procedures and that risk assessments are properly implemented and monitored is essential. You will also plan sufficient work for night resources to maintain productivity and prepare clear work packs for the field team.

Collaboration with the Leakage and System Optimisation teams will ensure priority focus is directed to the correct areas, supporting Thames Water’s commitment to delivering a reliable and efficient water network.
