About the Role
We are seeking a creative and technically skilled Website Developer & Designer to lead the design, development, and maintenance of our company websites. You will be responsible for creating new sites, updating existing ones, and ensuring they remain modern, functional, and aligned with the brand identities of the companies within our group. This role requires not only delivering technically sound websites but also bringing fresh ideas, creativity, and the confidence to pitch new concepts that elevate our digital presence. Key responsibilities include designing, building, and maintaining multiple company websites using WordPress; creating custom themes, templates, and plug-ins to meet business needs; managing and updating content; ensuring websites are responsive, user-friendly, and visually aligned with brand guidelines; optimising websites for performance, SEO, and accessibility; collaborating with the Media and Marketing team to bring digital campaigns to life; and researching, pitching, and implementing new creative ideas to keep sites fresh and engaging.

Experience
- Proven experience developing and designing WordPress sites
- Strong portfolio of WordPress projects
- Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP
- Experience with WordPress plug-ins, themes, and customisation
- Knowledge of SEO and website performance best practices
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines

About you
Creative mindset with strong attention to detail and confidence to contribute ideas and suggest new ways of doing things. Must be available to work on-site five days a week at our Vauxhall office.

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree preferred but not essential.
