Based on site 5 days a week, 5 over 7 days contract, 40 hours per week. Predominantly Monday to Friday 9am to 5.30pm, with flexibility required over weekends.
Salary
£35,000 - £37,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus 10% incentive bonus

We are seeking a Sales Executive to join our team at the Old Royal Naval College, a prestigious venue comprising multiple event spaces including the Painted Hall for grand banquets and the Admiral’s House for intimate weddings and celebrations.
As a Wedding Sales Executive, you will be responsible for ensuring all events are delivered to the highest quality, maximizing profit and creating excellent client experiences. You will maintain and develop supplier relationships to optimize price and quality, manage the venue’s recommended supplier list, and oversee project timelines and budgets. Compliance with health and safety requirements and financial management, including invoice checks and debt management, are key aspects of the role.
Sales and marketing responsibilities include achieving and exceeding monthly sales targets, proactively identifying new business opportunities, managing key accounts, and being the primary client contact from enquiry through to event handover. You will also organise and conduct venue show rounds for potential clients and ensure all event-related administration is accurate and timely.

Experience
Previous experience in the wedding, corporate, and private events market is essential. Background in contract catering, hotels, or venue management is highly desirable. Experience working in unique venues or similar settings is advantageous. Prior roles in events sales and marketing within an events company, caterer, or venue are preferred.
