Our Local Economy service is looking for a passionate and dedicated WorkWell Delivery Lead to join our amazing team and help make a difference today.
As the WorkWell Delivery Lead, you will lead the delivery of Southwark's WorkWell programme, helping residents with health-related barriers to access and remain in employment. You will provide operational leadership for a new in-house employment support service, ensuring excellent performance, quality, and compliance with programme requirements.
You will manage and support a team of Work and Health Coaches, build strong partnerships across health and employment services, and ensure the programme delivers positive outcomes for residents while aligning with wider council priorities.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading the delivery and development of the WorkWell programme in Southwark.
- Managing, motivating, and supporting a team of Work and Health Coaches.
- Building effective partnerships with NHS healthcare providers, council services, and external stakeholders.
- Working closely with our Connect to Work and wider Southwark Works services to enable a joined-up offer for residents, employers and partners.
- Overseeing programme performance, governance, quality assurance, and financial management.
- Ensuring programme outputs, outcomes, and compliance requirements are achieved.
Experience
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing and developing high-performing teams.
- Proven track record of delivering employment, skills, health, or related support programmes.
- Excellent stakeholder management and partnership-building abilities.
- Experience managing complex projects or programmes and delivering measurable outcomes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make informed decisions.

Qualifications
