About the Role
Travis Perkins has been leading the building materials industry for over two centuries, providing customers with the products they need and the smile they deserve. As a Yard Sales Assistant, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional customer service. Every day is different, but your main responsibilities will include processing customer orders, loading and unloading customer and company vehicles, and receiving deliveries by accurately booking products into the branch warehouse. You will be based outside and work closely with customers, often building strong relationships and getting to know them on a first-name basis. Experience using a forklift is ideal but not essential as full training will be provided. Safety is paramount, so maintaining a tidy and safe working environment is a key part of your role.

You will be enthusiastic with excellent interpersonal skills, confident in your physical ability to handle heavy and bulky stock safely, and able to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Adaptability and resilience are important to succeed in this role.
