About the Role
As a Same Day Access Hub Coordinator, you will act as a central point of contact for patients, providing reception and navigation support to guide patients through the Same Day Access Service. You will use EMIS to record patient arrivals, maintain accurate patient records, manage appointment information, and support clinical workflows. Your responsibilities will include booking appropriate Same Day Access, practice, and NHS 111 appointments, maintaining triage and appointment lists, and processing tasks, messages, and requests from GPs and other authorised clinical colleagues accurately and within agreed timescales. You will also handle outgoing healthcare referrals and support effective communication between the service, member practices, and other healthcare providers. Ensuring patient information is complete, accurate, contemporaneous, and handled securely and confidentially is essential. Additionally, you will record and collate activity data, contribute to dashboards, KPIs, audits, patient surveys, and performance reports. You will gather patient feedback, respond appropriately to concerns, and contribute to initiatives that improve patient access, experience, and the overall effectiveness of the service.
Experience
Experience in patient reception, administration, or healthcare coordination is desirable. Familiarity with EMIS or similar clinical systems is advantageous.

Qualifications
No specific qualifications are required; however, experience in healthcare administration or customer service and knowledge of clinical systems will be beneficial.
