About the Role
Anthropic’s mission is to create reliable, interpretable, and steerable AI systems that are safe and beneficial for users and society. As the EMEA Account Executive Lead for Beneficial Deployments, you will build and lead a foundational sales team driving adoption of Claude across mission-driven organisations in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. This player-coach role requires you to personally close complex deals while establishing a high-performing regional team. You will operate with significant autonomy across time zones while aligning closely with global strategy.

The role focuses on sales efforts across Beneficial Deployments verticals including nonprofits and foundations, educational institutions, and emerging markets in Africa and India. You will navigate complex multi-stakeholder ecosystems, design innovative sales strategies tailored to diverse EMEA contexts, and build consensus among executive teams, programme officers, trustees, and IT departments.

You will also develop and maintain relationships with key ecosystem players such as nonprofit and education networks, inform product roadmaps with regional insights, refine sales methodologies, ensure compliance with data protection regulations (GDPR, UK GDPR), and partner effectively with cross-functional teams based in San Francisco. This role offers the opportunity to shape team processes and culture as the team scales.
