About the Role
The Account Manager owns the day-to-day delivery of Currys' point-of-sale (POS) and in-store execution on behalf of Inspired Thinking Group (ITG) – from campaign set-up and Sphere job builds through to allocation, stock management and post-campaign reporting – ensuring POS is right first time and on time in every store. Alongside core POS, the role covers the promo plan, mobile price tiles and PIS, B2B hub collateral, Credit & Services POS and ad-hoc campaigns and projects. This is a hands-on, detail-focused role suited to someone who is well organised, comfortable managing multiple live campaigns simultaneously, and confident building strong working relationships with Currys marketing, category, Credit & Services and B2B teams as well as ITG's studio and production teams. Reporting to the Senior Account Manager, this position offers direct exposure to a high-profile retail client and a clear path towards a Senior Account Manager role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sphere job builds & POS briefing: Create and manage campaign lines, briefing lines and allocations for all in-store POS, working from Currys' master briefs.
- Post-campaign reporting: Produce POD reporting, manage medics and produce POE decks.
- Promo plan: Build the promo plan from Currys templates, drawing information from Sphere.
- Price tiles & PIS: Own the mobile price tile and PIS processes end-to-end.
- B2B & Credit & Services collateral: Manage B2B hub collateral with the Currys B2B team and build Credit & Services POS jobs from partner briefs.
- Ad-hoc campaigns & projects: Support delivery of ad-hoc campaigns (e.g. NLC, Cambridge, AI Awards) alongside a Currys lead.
- Stock, replenishment & flight plan: Manage stock and write-offs within ITG, and keep the flight plan updated to support the weekly WIP call.
- Relationship management: Build strong day-to-day relationships across Currys and ITG teams, flagging risks and issues early.
Experience
Experience managing POS/in-store marketing production, ideally via a job-management platform such as Sphere. Retail, FMCG or trade marketing production experience is an advantage.
About you
Strong administrative accuracy and attention to detail. Confident managing multiple concurrent campaigns and deadlines. Good stakeholder management skills across marketing, category, Credit & Services and B2B teams. Working knowledge of CMS platforms for digital collateral. Well-spoken, professional and comfortable representing ITG to client and agency stakeholders.
Qualifications
No specific qualifications required; however, relevant experience and a professional approach are essential.
