About the Role
We have an exciting creative opportunity for a Post Production Coordinator to join the John Lewis Creative & Content Team. This role is responsible for the day-to-day processing and handling of all images and videos produced by the John Lewis Studio. You will upload high quality omni-channel visual assets and videos that meet timings, product style guidelines, briefs, and technical specifications. Working closely with Art Direction, Production, third party agencies, Buying teams, Product Launch team, and Sample Coordination team, you will produce content that highlights and elevates both Partnership brands.
Your key responsibilities will include processing e-commerce and creative images and videos through to internal and external retouch, final delivery, and quality control. You will QC all images before and after retouching, checking imagery in Photoshop for crops, guidelines, and consistency in line with briefs, ensuring all imagery is named and sized correctly to support quick and easy upload to servers and archive storage.
You will monitor all assets, identify coding errors or missing images, and ensure full suites are delivered on time. This includes downloading and uploading imagery from internal and external sources to FTP sites and external agencies, delivering to required drives in agreed formats, and meeting KPIs. You will communicate retouching amendments to Senior Retouchers, schedule these amends, and deliver within set timeframes.
Maintaining good housekeeping of all image and video assets within internal and external image servers is essential. You will resolve digital asset queries and manage/prioritize requests from key teams through appropriate communication channels, using initiative to resolve queries quickly and efficiently. Tracking and maintaining all amends through the reporting log to support is also required.
Ensuring images are omni-channel ready and delivered to brief on time, archiving and handling images and videos appropriately, and working with the studio team to ensure samples are received from shoots for colour matching and passed onto the warehouse in a timely manner are key parts of the role.
