About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to join the busy administrative team at the Waltham Forest Memory Service on a fixed-term, twelve-month contract. In this key administrative role, you will provide essential support to ensure the smooth operation of the Memory Service. You will work closely with a variety of stakeholders, including team members, service users, and carers to ensure effective communication and efficient processes. Your efforts will directly impact the quality and timeliness of the care provided.
Key responsibilities include:
- Communicating effectively with a range of individuals, in person or by phone, ensuring professionalism, courtesy, and sensitivity to communication barriers.
- Responding to enquiries and taking appropriate actions on behalf of the service within agreed time frames.
- Managing the Memory Service’s Team Inbox; receiving and logging new referrals and enquiries.
- Arranging and taking minutes or notes at internal meetings.
- Handling the booking of clinical appointments and clinics using RIO.

Experience
Previous administrative experience is desirable but not essential. Enthusiasm and the ability to work effectively within a busy team environment are important.
