About the Role
The Administrator will provide essential support to the Children’s Safeguarding (public health) team within the London Borough of Sutton. This role requires responding promptly and professionally to enquiries, managing a busy workload, and maintaining excellent telephone and IT skills. You will be responsible for handling highly confidential and sensitive information, assessing and prioritising it autonomously, and ensuring timely dissemination to the appropriate practitioners. The post holder will contribute to delivering a coordinated, consistent, and high-quality service within the directorate, acting as a key point of contact for families accessing universal and universal plus health services. This dynamic and flexible team liaises closely with the 0-19 team and wider support services to ensure effective communication and service delivery. The role is based on-site and requires excellent organisational and communication skills, the ability to work efficiently under pressure with minimal supervision, and sound decision-making abilities.
