About the Role
We are looking for a caring, enthusiastic and reliable After School Club Assistant to join our team at Lift Trinity. This is an exciting opportunity to help create a fun, safe and engaging environment where children can learn, play and thrive after the school day. You will plan, prepare and deliver engaging activities that meet the individual developmental needs of children and create a safe, welcoming and stimulating environment where children can play, learn and develop. You will encourage children’s social, emotional, physical and creative development through a range of structured and free-play activities and work closely with colleagues to ensure high standards of care and supervision at all times. Responsibilities include registering pupils and following school procedures for attendance and safeguarding, preparing and distributing healthy snacks while promoting good hygiene and healthy lifestyles, building positive relationships with children, parents and carers, and liaising with the School Operations Manager regarding the planning, attendance and day-to-day running of the club. You will also maintain a clean, organised and safe environment before, during and after each session and promote positive behaviour in line with school policies relating to safeguarding, health and safety, behaviour and first aid.

Experience
Previous experience working with children is desirable but not essential. Enthusiasm and a genuine passion for supporting children’s development and wellbeing are key.
About you
You will be caring, reliable and enthusiastic with a passion for working with children. You should enjoy planning creative activities that encourage confidence, independence and positive relationships. The ability to work well as part of a wider school team and maintain high standards of care and supervision is essential.
Qualifications
There are no specific qualifications required for this role, but a commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children is essential. Training will be provided as part of the role.
