As an AI Engineer (Commercial), you will build production AI systems that transform how our commercial teams operate. This is a hands-on engineering role where you will design, ship, and maintain LLM-powered applications, automation, and models that solve real problems across Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success. You will work closely with the business to translate complex commercial challenges into effective software solutions.

Your responsibilities will include designing, building, and deploying production AI applications such as LLM-powered tools, agents, and automation used daily by commercial teams. You will build and maintain ML models addressing churn risk, lead scoring, pipeline and revenue forecasting, and expansion signals. You will ship fast by prototyping, gathering user feedback, and iterating. You will own features end-to-end, from data to interface, and integrate systems via APIs to ensure smooth data flow between our CRM, product analytics, and data warehouse.

You will collaborate directly with commercial leaders to identify high-impact problems and develop tools to solve them. Additionally, you will establish responsible AI practices including evaluation, monitoring, bias mitigation, and explainability as we scale AI usage across the company.

Experience
- 4+ years building and shipping production software, with recent hands-on experience deploying AI/ML or LLM-powered applications. Proven track record of running production systems, not just prototypes.
- Strong engineering fundamentals: writing clean, maintainable code (Python or similar), working confidently with APIs, databases, and modern data stacks, and reasoning about system design.
- Practical experience building applications on LLMs (OpenAI, Anthropic, open-source), including prompt engineering and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) architectures.
- Experience training, deploying, or productionising ML models and measuring their effectiveness.
- Ability to translate vague business problems into technical solutions and measure their commercial impact.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present to non-technical stakeholders and C-suite executives, translating technical work into business value.
- Bias for shipping working solutions over perfect architectures.

About you
- Experience with commercial or CRM data (Salesforce especially) or a willingness to take ownership.
- Familiarity with fine-tuning, evaluation frameworks, or causal inference for measuring intervention impact.
- Experience with BI tools such as Tableau, Looker, Power BI, or QuickSight and building dashboards.
- Background in RevOps, commercial analytics, or SaaS growth analytics.
- Experience in LegalTech, professional services software, or complex B2B sales environments.
- Proven track record of building internal tools used by non-technical teams.

- Exposure to B2B SaaS, regulated industries, or LegalTech.
- Experience collaborating directly with Product and Customers.
