We are seeking a contract AI Engineer to develop AI-powered automations that drive demand generation. You will work closely with the Head of AI Operations and Marketing to transform a backlog of automation ideas from design through to production.

Key responsibilities include:
- Building and maintaining AI-enabled automation pipelines (n8n, Zapier/Make, direct LLM APIs) for lead scoring, enrichment, and MQL-to-SQL routing between HubSpot and Salesforce
- Designing and implementing RAG pipelines and vector database integrations to enable AI-generated personalized campaign content, nurture sequences, and ad copy at scale
- Creating event-triggered automations on Mission Control that convert buyer intent signals into real-time marketing and sales actions
- Developing, testing, and versioning prompts for demand generation use cases with continuous evaluation to improve output quality
- Automating manual reporting workflows to provide marketing with faster, more accurate visibility into pipeline generation, funnel conversion, and campaign ROI
- Applying sound engineering standards including error handling, logging, and monitoring to all automations deployed
- Documenting and handing over solutions clearly to enable marketing and RevOps teams to operate and extend automations independently

Experience
- Proven delivery of LLM-based automation in a production environment, beyond prototypes
- Strong experience with automation platforms such as Inngest
- Proficiency in Python and SQL
- Experience building RAG pipelines and working with vector databases
- Hands-on experience with AWS Bedrock APIs and prompt engineering
- Experience automating marketing (HubSpot) and CRM (Salesforce) environments, with direct demand generation experience strongly preferred
- Comfortable collaborating with non-technical marketing and RevOps stakeholders to translate vague briefs into delivered automations
