About the Role
At the Imperial War Museum (IWM), we are united by a shared purpose: helping people understand the impact of conflict and the experiences of those affected. Based at IWM Duxford, one of the world’s most significant historic aviation sites, you will join a passionate Air Show team responsible for delivering some of the UK’s most celebrated aviation events. This varied and exciting role combines event administration, operational delivery and stakeholder coordination within a unique heritage aviation environment.

You will support the planning, administration and coordination of air shows, flying days and related events, working alongside aviation professionals, Flying Display Directors, event specialists, contractors and volunteers. Your contribution will help ensure these events are delivered safely, efficiently and professionally, creating memorable visitor experiences and supporting aviation participants and event stakeholders. This role offers a rewarding opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where aviation history comes to life through flying aircraft, exhibitions and collections.

Experience
- Strong organisational and administrative skills with excellent attention to detail
- Experience using Microsoft Office applications and maintaining accurate records
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment
