About the Role
Lyst is a global fashion shopping platform founded in London in 2010, serving over 160 million shoppers annually. We curate the largest assortment of premium and luxury fashion products from 27,000 leading brands and stores worldwide. In 2025, Lyst joined Zozo, the leading fashion e-commerce platform in Japan, marking a new era focused on transforming fashion shopping through AI and technology. Our mission is to help fashion shoppers make better decisions and assist fashion partners in finding better audiences by providing a personalised, inspiring, and fulfilling search and discovery experience.

We are seeking an Analytics Engineer to join our central Data Platform team. We handle nearly 100 million lines of data daily, modelled across approximately 600 dbt models that answer key product and commercial questions. This is an exciting time to join as we build AI capabilities on top of our data, evolving how we model, serve, and govern it so teams across Lyst can independently access insights.

As an Analytics Engineer, you will work hands-on with data modelling, transformation pipelines, and AI integration. You will be embedded within the customer experience tribe, partnering closely with a product development squad to provide visibility into feature performance and customer behaviour. This blend of central platform responsibilities and embedded product partnership makes the role varied and impactful.

Key projects include building and optimising data models and pipelines, migrating our BI stack from Looker to Omni, preparing data for AI consumption, automating analysis and reporting, and maintaining high data quality and governance.

You will collaborate with engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders across the company to deliver trustworthy, timely data insights that drive decision-making and innovation.

Experience

- Comfortable using BI tools such as Omni, Looker, Lightdash, or equivalents
- Familiarity with git, Terraform, Python, or Jira is a plus
- Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure is advantageous

About you
- Excellent communicator, able to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Good judgement in prioritising work to focus on the most impactful problems
- Proactive in identifying repetitive tasks and automating them
- Enthusiastic about using AI tools in your workflow and interested in their impact on analytics engineering
- Passionate about solving problems at scale through automation
- Curious and eager to learn, share knowledge, and take ownership
- Enjoys tackling challenging problems with a detective-like mindset
- Committed to writing clear, well-documented, and tested code, and continuously improving existing processes
