About the Role
This is a great opportunity to join the Housing team at Wandle Housing Association. We’re looking for a highly proactive and community focused individual with high quality customer service skills to join as the Anti-Social Behaviour Officer to support tenants and provide community safety across Wandle and our neighbourhoods. You will deliver a proactive service that includes investigation, prevention, partnership working and, where necessary, enforcement action.
Key responsibilities include managing an ASB caseload taking direct ownership to ensure every contact with the customer is recorded and to provide specialist advice, guidance and support in respect of Anti-Social Behaviour and complex cases. You will develop appropriate responses and solutions to ASB by working in partnership with internal and external teams and co-ordinate implementation. You will also take responsibility for service-related complaints and enquiries from customers to ensure a positive, professional customer experience responded to within set timescales. Additionally, you will construct a robust evidential base for legal action ensuring clarity, coherence and detail, while identifying risk escalation at the earliest possible time to safeguard customers.
Experience
At least three years’ experience in anti-social behaviour, community safety and a tenant-facing role. Working knowledge of all legislation involving the management of ASB and an understanding of safeguarding with confidence in recognising and escalating concerns appropriately.
About you
Ability to adapt communication style to different stakeholders to de-escalate tense situations and promote positive outcomes. Strong communication and relationship-building skills. Good IT skills with proficiency in Microsoft packages and confidence using new systems. Experience with CRM or case management systems is advantageous, with Dynamics system experience being a plus. Full UK driving licence and access to a car is desirable.
