London West Neighbourhood including Brent, Harrow, Ealing, Hillingdon, Hounslow, Reading, and Basingstoke, with occasional travel to parts of Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire.

About the Role
We are seeking four Apprentice Property Maintenance Operatives to join London and Quadrant Housing Trust’s maintenance team. This role offers a 2.5-year fixed term contract during which you will undertake a Level 2 Property Maintenance Operative Apprenticeship. You will gain hands-on experience in multi-trades including carpentry, joinery, plumbing, plastering, brick and block work, external works, tiling, painting, and decorating across L&Q housing stock throughout the West Neighbourhood.
You will work under instruction and supervision with the aim of eventually taking responsibility for your own work where appropriate. The apprenticeship programme is designed to support your development and career progression, with guidance from your manager, a dedicated mentor, and experienced colleagues. We aim to place apprentices in locations convenient for travel and will discuss this at interview.

Qualifications
- Ideally GCSEs in English and Maths, Grade C / Grade 4 or above
- Must be eligible to work in the UK and have valid residency status for apprenticeship funding (usually UK residency for at least 3 years prior to start)
- A full UK Driving Licence is not required to apply but will be necessary for progression to a Trainee position after completion
