As a Wastewater Asset Planner, you will own the plan for one of our London systems and stay involved in the plans as they are delivered through the sponsorship model. You will lead the development of integrated site plans by facilitating cross-functional collaboration, identifying interdependencies and determining the optimal sequencing of interventions. You will continuously update and maintain comprehensive site and system-level plans, adapting to project changes and reflecting evolving priorities across the asset lifecycle.

You will gather long-term strategic input from Asset Strategy to inform Price Review 29 planning and ensure alignment with future needs. You will develop and prioritise projects for current and future 5-yearly Asset Management Periods (AMPs), incorporating engineering insights and defining technical scope for robust submissions to decision gates. You will create and manage system-wide plans across wastewater network, treatment and pumping—addressing capital maintenance, growth, enhancement, and quality goals.

Your responsibilities include delivering on Capital maintenance plans and efficient spend in relation to asset health and supporting our Outcome Delivery Incentives. You will monitor and evaluate asset condition, maintenance standards and anticipated failure rates. Additionally, you will support external engagement activities, helping stakeholders understand and align with our strategic plans.

Experience
- Knowledge of asset management, engineering best practices and planning/forecasting.
- Confident communicator who builds strong relationships across teams and external stakeholders.
- Analytical and confident with numbers, able to communicate complex ideas clearly and simply.
- Proactive, able to influence across all levels and consider different views.
- Able to work flexibly across multiple workstreams, responding to changes in focus.
- Good understanding of risk management.

About you
- Knowledgeable about wastewater systems and external impacts is desirable.
- Professional membership of an engineering, environmental or asset management organisation is an advantage.
- Ideally, an understanding of regulatory processes, such as price reviews or annual returns.
