Job Responsibilities
As the Finance Assistant Manager, you will be key in analysing our financial data to improve processes, systems, and financial control. You will work closely with Head of Departments (HODs) and the Finance Manager to understand and control costs, maximising financial efficiency. Your responsibilities will include conducting in-depth financial analysis, assisting in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts, collaborating with departments for accurate data gathering, monitoring budgetary performance, creating ad-hoc reports, reviewing operating expenses, tracking monthly product cost allocation, and providing administrative assistance to the Finance Managers and wider team.
Experience
No specific experience required, but a strong analytical mindset and attention to detail are essential.
About you
You are a team player with the confidence to work independently, possess a self-starting attitude, and have strong organisation and time-keeping skills.
Qualifications
Essential: GCSE (or equivalent) English and Maths grade C or above, moderate Excel skills (Lookups, Pivot tables, power query), strong analytical skills, excellent attention to detail.
Desirable: Mathematics, finance or economics degree, confident with Excel Macros, previous experience in management accounts, experienced in leading management meetings, experienced in Power BI, experience with EPOS systems.
