Established in 1938, Preston Manor School is a thriving, inclusive all-through school serving its local community. It operates across two sites, with a Lower School (Reception to Year 6) and an Upper School (Year 7 to Sixth Form), supporting students throughout their entire educational journey. The successful candidate will join a dynamic and supportive team of teachers committed to helping pupils achieve the highest standards while prioritising professional development. They will become part of an experienced Senior Leadership Team with long-standing leaders and a well-established reputation for academic success, with Year 6 outcomes consistently above national averages.

The role includes leading the school’s SEND provision to ensure outstanding support and excellent progress for SEND pupils. The candidate will also take responsibility for leading a phase within the school and will be accountable to the Headteacher of the Lower School and the Executive Headteacher.

Leadership roles and responsibilities within the Senior Leadership Team are rotated to provide broad leadership experience and access to continuing professional development (CPD). The successful candidate will also lead and be accountable for an area of the Ofsted Framework.

Experience
Proven track record of achieving outstanding student progress through own practice. Experience in leadership and management within an educational setting is essential.
