About the Role
Preston Park Primary School is seeking an exceptional, innovative, and ambitious Assistant Headteacher to join our dedicated leadership team for maternity cover. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced leader passionate about raising standards, driving excellence in teaching and learning, and ensuring every child achieves their full potential.
As a key member of the Senior Leadership Team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the strategic direction of the school, supporting staff development, and promoting outstanding outcomes for all pupils. Flexibility is essential, as year group responsibilities may vary according to the needs of the school, with placement possible in EYFS, KS1, or KS2 during the fixed term.

Experience
- Proven successful leadership experience as a middle or senior leader with a track record of improving pupil outcomes
- Experience working as an Assistant Headteacher within EYFS, KS1 and/or KS2
- Substantial teaching experience in at least two settings
- Demonstrated ability to model excellence in teaching and learning
- Experience in giving effective and efficient feedback to move learning on, including monitoring, evaluating, and improving the quality of teaching and learning

Qualifications
