About the Role
The Office of the Parliamentary Commissioner for Standards plays a vital role in upholding standards and maintaining public confidence in Parliament. We are seeking an organised and detail-focused Assistant Investigations & Complaints Officer to join our small and dedicated team. You will support the Commissioner’s work by handling investigations, managing stakeholder correspondence, and delivering engagement activities across and beyond the Parliamentary community.

This unique opportunity places you at the heart of the UK Parliament, supporting processes that contribute directly to parliamentary accountability and standards. You will work closely with operational Investigation Managers, providing administrative support for investigations, responding to enquiries and correspondence from members of the public and internal stakeholders, and helping to coordinate the Commissioner’s outreach and engagement programme.

The role offers a varied workload in a fast-paced environment and is suited to someone who enjoys working with accuracy and discretion, can manage competing priorities, and is comfortable dealing with sensitive and confidential information.

Requirements

Experience
- Experience of arranging workshops, conferences or similar events.
- Experience prioritising tasks in a fast-moving environment.

- Demonstrates political sensitivity and exercises independent judgement to maintain impartiality.
