About the Role

We have an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Locality Manager to join our team in Edgware. This is a fantastic chance to build your leadership skills, develop your operational knowledge, and work closely with a supportive and experienced team. You'll help oversee a complex, supported single-site home for a vibrant young woman with learning disabilities, Smith-Magenis Syndrome, ADHD, and PTSD. She's active in her community, loves British comedy and music, and has a brilliant sense of humour. This role is designed to help you grow: 2 days per week on rota, where you'll model best practice, support colleagues, and ensure quality care is being delivered. 3 days per week off rota, giving you time to support the Locality Manager, support with supervisions, complete audits, provide coaching, and maintain flexibility across the service. You'll be supported every step of the way by an experienced Locality Manager and benefit from coaching with our PBS Consultant to strengthen your confidence and capability around complex care and team leadership.

Experience supporting people with complex needs and behaviours of concern.

Qualifications
The willingness to work towards a Diploma Level 3 in Health and Social Care/Leadership and Management for Care Services. Proven professional qualities, including experience of working with people with a wide range of needs - for example, autism and complex learning disabilities. The ability to prioritise workload, manage your own time, delegate tasks and meet deadlines. Up-to-date knowledge of the personalisation agenda and Active Support provision. The personality to develop positive working relationships across Dimensions - including the people we support, their families, internal colleagues and external agencies.
