About the Role
We are seeking experienced support workers to join our team in a specialist supported living home, providing 2:1 support to a young woman in her early 30s. This is a single-person home requiring emotionally resilient individuals confident in supporting complex behaviours and committed to building strong, trusting relationships. Your focus will be on helping her feel safe, understood, and valued. She is bright, funny, and knows what she likes. Support includes assistance with daily routines such as meal preparation, personal care, and attending social groups and interests.
You will receive full training and ongoing support from our Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) team, with a clear PBS plan already in place. During induction, you will work closely with the locality manager and experienced colleagues to help you settle in.
This role requires patience, consistency, and presence, especially during challenging moments. The right team environment helps her thrive, particularly when humour and connection are present. Her interests include Barbie, Only Fools and Horses, animals, community clubs, and being out and about.
The home operates 24-hour support with varied shifts to ensure continuous care.
Experience
Previous experience as a support worker is required, particularly in supporting individuals with complex behaviours.
About you
