About the Role
As an Audit Manager working across the Cloud, Infrastructure & Engineering portfolios, you will have a deep understanding of core infrastructure, cloud technologies, and modern software engineering practices. You will contribute to delivering the Group's technology strategy and major technology change initiatives by leading audits or elements of large audits with relative autonomy. Your role involves providing high-quality independent assurance on the effectiveness of technology frameworks and controls, aligned with business strategy, priorities, controls, and risks.

Day to day, you will:
- Contribute to the audit plan and support the portfolio lead by project managing individual audits
- Support control testing and identify areas of concern, articulating potential challenges
- Build meaningful relationships and support senior colleagues while making your own connections
- Proactively suggest and deliver improvements in compliance processes
- Conduct research considering multiple perspectives and external trends
- Actively role model the Group values and behaviours
- Coach with purpose, remain present with the team, and communicate expectations openly
- Share insight and provide timely, direct, effective feedback that supports successful delivery and leaves a positive, sustainable impact on the function
Experience
- Proven ability to lead and take ownership of delivery while championing colleagues' growth and development
- Experience delivering risk and control assurance activities that are timely, impactful, and insightful
- Ability to understand and interpret Group and Business Unit Strategy, connecting audit delivery and business monitoring insights to these strategies at a macro level
- Strong analytical skills to understand and communicate data effectively and use it to drive audit outcomes

Qualifications
- Technical knowledge and experience in most of the following areas:
- Core infrastructure components including networking, middleware, operating systems, and storage
- Cloud technologies, models, and control frameworks (e.g., CSA CCM), ideally with hands-on experience on Google Cloud and/or Microsoft Azure
- Modern software engineering frameworks (e.g., NIST, OWASP) and practices (e.g., DevOps)
- IT general controls including access management, service management, and cybersecurity
- Automated control testing using scripting languages or cloud CLIs (e.g., Python, gcloud, PowerShell) to validate control effectiveness
- Professional qualifications such as CISA, CISSP, or cloud accreditations are advantageous but extensive relevant work experience is also valued
- Previous financial services, audit, or risk experience is beneficial
