About the Role
Are you ready to make a real difference? Join Veolia as a Bid Project Manager within our Public Sector Business Development team based in Kings Cross, London. You will play a key role in helping Veolia achieve a substantial share of the UK market for public sector waste management and environmental services contracts. Your responsibilities will include understanding client needs and bid requirements, collaborating with the Business Development Manager and project teams to develop technical, legal, and financial solutions, and ensuring timely submission of tenders that meet client specifications. You will write detailed Method Statements, manage presentations, attend client meetings, and oversee the procurement process and project plan. Additionally, you will liaise with Local Authorities during the clarification process and lead parts of the tender solution. Experience
Previous bidding and/or business development experience is essential.
About You
You are a well-organised individual with a very high standard of written English and strong IT skills, including advanced proficiency in Word and proficient use of Excel and PowerPoint. Familiarity with Google Suite is desirable. You are ambitious, eager to learn, and wish to progress within a high-performing Business Development team focused on delivering profitable growth. You can work well under pressure, demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and maintain a high level of confidentiality when handling business-critical data. You are equally comfortable working independently or as part of a team and can work with minimal direct supervision. Flexibility regarding working hours is required.
Qualifications
