About the Role

As an Energy Analytics Engineer, you will play a key role in driving genuine change by developing and implementing data solutions that support our energy and sustainability goals. You will work with a variety of data sources, building end-to-end processes for data ingestion, modeling, and reporting to deliver rich business intelligence.
Your responsibilities will include building and maintaining data pipelines using Azure Data Factory and Databricks, connecting to third-party APIs with Python, and ensuring data quality through curated datasets and integrated testing. You will support invoice validation, cost reconciliation, and supplier portfolio management through robust database development and management.
You will collaborate regularly with teams across the business including Operations, Finance, and senior management, providing training and support to maximize the use of analytics tools. You will also help drive the rollout of carbon reporting for internal and external stakeholders, contributing directly to Veolia’s purpose of ecological transformation.

Experience
Proven experience in data engineering and analytics, with expertise in Power BI, dbt, Databricks, and Azure. Proficiency in SQL, Python, and data manipulation libraries and frameworks. Experience working with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure) and big data technologies.

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in computer science, data engineering, or a related field; a master's degree is a plus.
