About the Role
Design is at the heart of everything we do at Arondite. Our software is used in some of the world’s most complex and demanding environments, where design can mean the difference between success and failure. We are obsessed with good design and want to ensure our brand reflects this passion. You will join our marketing and communications team as our first brand designer. You will work closely with marketing, deployment teams, product designers and strategy to define our brand direction, the visual assets we need to deploy and the best way to deliver them. You will be the voice of the Arondite brand, owning our visual identity from day one and driving it forward as we scale.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading the execution, refinement and evolution of the Arondite brand
- Designing visually compelling assets across marketing and external communications, including decks, factsheets, white papers, conference stands, adverts and social graphics
- Developing illustrations and graphics to support product marketing efforts
- Ensuring brand consistency across all deliverables while pushing creative boundaries
- Collaborating with growth, video, design and operations teams to understand company and project needs and deliver impactful design work
- Building, maintaining and growing a world-class asset bank of deployable materials and templates to help teams self-serve world-class design assets
- Exploring new opportunities for design-led initiatives across every company function and priority

Working Environment
We focus on building a positive, collaborative engineering-driven culture. We believe in making the office a friendly, comfortable and fun place to be, and encourage working from the office where possible. Remote work is allowed when appropriate, and travel to visit customers may be required depending on your role. You should be excited to work in person by default.
Right to Work and Security Clearance
All candidates must have an existing Right to Work in the UK at the time of application. This role is likely to require UK security vetting to Security Check (SC) or above, which normally requires continuous UK residency for at least 5 years.
Application Process
The interview process generally includes:
- CV submission with initial questions
- Introductory Teams call (30-45 minutes)
- In-person portfolio review and discussion (45 minutes) plus brand exploration/critique (45 minutes)
- Final interview with one of Arondite's Founders (30 minutes)
Experience
- 3-5 years professional experience in brand or graphic design, either at an agency or in-house at a fast-moving product company
- Strong and opinionated portfolio showcasing brand experience across digital, print, web, presentation and other mediums
- Mastery of design fundamentals including typography, hierarchy, composition and colour, from statement work to complex document layout
- Ability to work at pace and make good decisions independently, often with incomplete or ambiguous briefs
- Experience working for software-only companies is a major advantage
About You
- Comfortable collaborating with technical teams and complex organisations (a plus)
- Interest or experience in motion graphics, video production or photography is a significant advantage; willingness to experiment with new capabilities is key
- Ability to work with, brief and provide feedback to external and internal design partners
- Motivated by Arondite’s mission and excited to contribute to a growing, ambitious company
- Willingness to work primarily from the office and engage in a collaborative culture

There are no formal qualification requirements listed; however, a strong portfolio and relevant professional experience are essential.
