About the Role
BBC Studios is a globally renowned media company, creating and distributing the world's most sought-after TV, audio, and digital content. The Business Coordinator role is based within BBC Studios Global Content's HQ team, which shapes, agrees, and monitors strategic and operational targets across UK and international business areas, including 20 UK production units and labels, 8 international production bases, and a market-leading global Sales business.
As Business Coordinator to the Strategy & Operations leads and Head of AI Creative Lab, you will play a key role in facilitating the smooth running of both teams. You will become a key point of contact for genre and business leads and support the successful delivery of the division's strategic priorities.
This is a fantastic opportunity to gain unique insights into a wide range of central production functions and key stakeholders across the BBC, working at the heart of a world-leading media collective.
Your key responsibilities include core administrative support to three Global Content Leads, managing diaries across teams and time zones, coordinating meetings, travel, accommodation, and events support. You will collaborate with other Coordinators across BBC Studios and the wider BBC to ensure efficient delivery of administrative services. Additional duties include coordinating the central business calendar, managing IT requests and systems access, supporting strategic priorities and operational projects, cascading information effectively, participating in projects and working groups, preparing agendas and papers, tracking progress, and assisting with invoice collation, purchase orders, and expense processing.

Experience
- Proven experience providing administrative assistance, including cross-team diary management, in at least one organisation.
- Practical experience gathering, analysing, and collating complex and confidential information.
- Basic analytical skills with experience providing MI data reports.
- Demonstrable experience of business coordination support, including working with online/AI tools and an interest in emerging AI-driven ways of working.
About You
- Highly organised with the ability to prioritise workload effectively and coordinate conflicting demands to meet tight deadlines.
- Strong communication skills, both oral and written, with the ability to tailor content to the audience.
- Proactive and able to work with limited supervision, using own initiative to resolve most problems.
- Strong computer skills with proficiency in office software packages such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Qualifications
- Desirable: Knowledge or experience of Airtable.
- Desirable: Media sector experience with an understanding of the content production process.
- Desirable: Relevant business management and/or project management qualification.
