About the Role
At Your Life Your Way, we empower people to live independently, whether at home or in supported accommodation. Since 2010, our trusted team has delivered compassionate, high-quality support tailored to each individual’s needs. As a Care Support Assistant, you will join a friendly and dedicated team supporting a client with Learning Disabilities and Epilepsy. You will spend your whole shift with one person, providing focused and meaningful support without travelling between sites.

Your responsibilities will include assisting with personal care and toileting needs, supporting daily routines and encouraging independence, providing companionship and emotional support, helping with household tasks and meal preparation, supporting attendance at appointments and community activities, and administering medication when required.

Experience
Experience working with people with learning disabilities and challenging behaviour is advantageous but not essential as full training is provided.

About you
You will be caring, compassionate, and have a genuine desire to support others. Good communication skills and basic IT and record-keeping abilities are important. A full UK driving licence is advantageous.

Person-centred care is essential, and you will have the opportunity to meet the client during the recruitment process. A good standard of spoken and written English is required.

Qualifications
No formal qualifications are required for this role. We provide full induction and ongoing training, along with opportunities to gain qualifications in Health and Social Care.
