About the Role
An opportunity has arisen to join the Tower Hamlets and City of London Youth Justice Service as a permanent Youth Justice Case Manager. In this role, you will be allocated children aged 10-17 years who have received community or custodial sentences from the Court. You will undertake high quality assessments and develop individualised intervention plans tailored to each child’s needs, aiming to positively impact their desistance from offending, ensure their safety, and protect the public. Building positive, trusting relationships with children and their families from diverse backgrounds is pivotal to this role.
The Youth Justice Service is committed to a ‘Child First’ approach, placing collaboration with children, families, and multi-agency partners at the heart of its work. The team is multi-disciplinary, including speech and language therapists, substance misuse practitioners, police, child and adolescent mental health clinicians, education officers, and therapeutic practitioners.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of trauma-informed, restorative justice, and relational approaches. You will demonstrate an unwavering commitment to delivering the best outcomes for children within Tower Hamlets and the City of London.

Experience
Proven ability to engage and develop positive, trusting relationships with children and families from diverse backgrounds. Experience working within youth justice or related fields is highly desirable.
