About the Role
At Kroo Bank Ltd, we have a bold vision to be the first bank that is both trusted and loved by its customers. We help people take control of their financial future while making a positive impact on the planet. Integrity, transparency, and honesty are at the core of everything we do. We think big, dream big, and relentlessly pursue our goals together as a team.
As a Cash Reconciliation Specialist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial operations. Working closely with Finance and Operations teams, you will manage reconciliation processes to ensure timely and accurate balancing of financial transactions. Your responsibilities will include performing daily reconciliations across internal cash ledgers and external bank statements, investigating discrepancies, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to drive improvements and maintain operational accuracy.
Key duties include reconciling payment scheme and settlement accounts, resolving cash breaks such as unmatched items and failed payments, supporting month-end close activities, maintaining and improving reconciliation processes and controls, and contributing to automation initiatives to reduce manual effort and risk. You will also liaise with external banks, payment partners, and scheme providers to resolve discrepancies and ensure all reconciliations are audit ready at all times.
Join us on our journey as Kroo continues to grow and make a difference in the financial services industry.
