About the Role
As a Catering Assistant, your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: helping with food preparation tasks such as peeling, chopping, trimming, and making sandwiches and salads; maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen area and equipment, including cleaning utensils, tableware, and catering stations; assisting with receiving and unpacking deliveries and ensuring food and supply storage areas are organised; serving food items to customers in accordance with the menu prepared by the Chefs; and topping up the vending services daily.

Experience
Commercial kitchen experience is highly valued but not essential.

About you
- Must have the Right to Work in the UK
- Prepared to undergo a DBS or Enhanced security check
- Basic knife skills, food preparation skills, and time management skills
- Ability to work under pressure with excellent organisational skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods due to the physical nature of the job

Qualifications
Possession of a basic Catering and Hospitality certificate such as Food Handling or equivalent is desired but not essential, as training can be provided.
