We are seeking an experienced CFD & Derivatives Operations Specialist to support the development of operational capability, customer support readiness and subject matter expertise as we expand into CFDs, Futures and Options trading services. This role will act as the operational SME for leveraged and derivatives products, helping shape operational processes, colleague capability, customer support models and risk awareness across the business.

The successful candidate will bring hands-on experience from a direct-to-consumer (D2C) trading environment and play a key role in ensuring operational readiness and ongoing support for these products.

Responsibilities include:
- Acting as the operational subject matter expert (SME) for CFDs, Futures and Options products
- Providing guidance on how leveraged and derivatives products operate across the customer lifecycle
- Supporting the design and implementation of operational processes, controls and servicing models for CFD and derivatives trading
- Building internal operational knowledge and capability across Customer Operations and supporting functions
- Developing and delivering training, coaching and knowledge materials to support colleague readiness
- Identifying operational risks, customer pain points and process gaps associated with derivatives trading activity
- Supporting operational incident reviews and providing insight into product-specific root causes and remediation requirements
- Providing expertise on customer behaviours, trading patterns and servicing expectations within a D2C CFD platform environment
- Assisting with handling and escalation of complex customer or operational queries relating to CFDs, Futures and Options
- Collaborating closely with Product, Risk, Compliance, Trading and Operations teams to support platform development and operational effectiveness
- Contributing to governance discussions relating to operational readiness, customer outcomes and control environments
- Supporting the embedding of scalable and sustainable servicing processes as the proposition grows

Requirements

Experience
- Proven experience working within a D2C CFD, Futures and Options trading platform environment
- Strong understanding of CFDs, Futures, Options, margin trading, leveraged products and associated operational support processes
- Deep understanding of the operational lifecycle of derivatives trades and customer servicing requirements
- Knowledge of customer behaviours, expectations and risks associated with active trading platforms
- Experience supporting operational teams, training colleagues or acting as a specialist SME

- Ability to identify operational risks and support incident reviews with actionable insights
- Collaborative mindset with experience working cross-functionally in fast-paced environments

Qualifications
- Financial services qualifications relevant to derivatives or trading products (desirable)
- Experience within a regulated investment platform or brokerage environment (desirable)
- Knowledge of operational risk and controls within leveraged trading environments (desirable)
- Experience supporting platform launches, migrations or operational change initiatives (desirable)
