As a Chef De Partie, you will play a crucial role in maintaining high kitchen standards and contributing to exceptional dining experiences. Your responsibilities will include preparing, cooking, and presenting high-quality dishes within your section, ensuring food safety and hygiene compliance, assisting in menu planning with seasonal ingredients and culinary trends, managing and coordinating your section including delegating tasks to junior staff, maintaining inventory records, collaborating with kitchen staff for smooth service, participating in kitchen meetings, training and mentoring junior staff, and supporting the Sous Chef and Head Chef in daily operations.

Requirements

Experience
Proven experience as a Chef De Partie or in a similar role within high-volume kitchens is required.

You are passionate about culinary excellence with a commitment to continuous learning and improvement. You work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment, have strong time management and organisational skills, and can work under pressure to meet tight deadlines. Good communication skills in English, both verbal and written, are essential. Flexibility to work varying shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays is required.

Qualifications
Culinary degree or diploma from a recognised institution.
Valid food hygiene certification.
Strong knowledge of various cuisines and cooking techniques.
Excellent food preparation and presentation skills.
Proficiency in operating kitchen equipment and following recipes.
Understanding of food cost control and inventory management principles.
