About the Role
Become a Chef Trainer and shape the culinary future! This role offers the perfect balance of remote work and on-site visits to apprentice kitchens across London. You will use your kitchen expertise to inspire and teach apprentices both online and in practical settings at our award-winning Chef Academy. Your responsibilities include supporting apprentices to master culinary techniques, guiding their development by understanding their goals and learning needs, and emphasizing the importance of English and maths in kitchen operations. You will also collaborate with employers to provide feedback on apprentice progress and manage your schedule efficiently from home using Google Suite and internal systems. Enjoy a Monday-to-Friday routine without weekend shifts, allowing you to regain your work-life balance while making a real impact on the next generation of chefs.
Experience
Previous experience as a Head Chef, Sous Chef, Chef de Partie, or Kitchen Manager with a passion for sharing culinary knowledge.
About you
Passionate about training and developing others, comfortable with technology for virtual training and administrative tasks, and motivated to support apprentices’ growth. You must hold a valid driving licence and have access to your own vehicle for regional travel.
Qualifications
Willingness to work towards Level 2 (GCSE) English and maths qualifications, with full support provided. An Enhanced DBS Check is required due to the nature of the role.
