About the Role
We are recruiting experienced social workers for our front door service in Family Support and Protection Teams. This role involves working within the Family Support and Protection Service (FSP), which consists of 10 social work teams undertaking child in need work, child protection work, and court work. You will gain a strong understanding of statutory work while collaborating closely with schools, health services, and voluntary organisations to safeguard and support children, young people, and their families.
Our approach is grounded in the Better Together Practice Framework, which incorporates Restorative Practice alongside strength-based methods such as Systemic and Trauma Informed Practice. Our C-Change approach (Connect, Curious, Community, Co-Produce, Collaborate, Check) guides our work with children, young people, parents, carers, and colleagues.
Tower Hamlets is a progressive, ambitious, and diverse place to work, committed to placing children and families at the heart of everything we do and relentlessly pursuing positive outcomes for all.
