Barker Associates is an award-winning, employee-owned, multi-disciplinary property consultancy providing Architecture and Design, Project Management, Surveying, Engineering, and Energy and Sustainability services across the UK. We are committed to delivering innovative and sustainable solutions from concept through to build and beyond. We are currently seeking a Civil Engineer to join our team and develop their career by working on a diverse portfolio of projects nationwide. In this role, you will assist in delivering Civil Engineering services, providing technical expertise and coordinating with multi-disciplinary teams. You will ensure compliance with all relevant design standards and regulations while contributing to the successful delivery of projects. Key responsibilities include developing technical designs using AutoCAD and Civil 3D, preparing calculations and hydraulic models with senior support, inspecting infrastructure and producing technical reports, drafting documentation and project drawings for final issue, and attending meetings including pre-contract visits and client briefs.

Experience
- Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent qualification
- Basic software knowledge of AutoCAD, InfoDrainage, and Civil 3D

About you
- Professional drive to work towards EngTech, IEng, or CEng MICE
- Full clean driving licence with access to own vehicle
- Willingness to undergo a DBS Enhanced check
